What I found in the trash

I took a different route today and boy am I glad I did. I found this great sign sticking out of someone's trash.

It went strait into my booth. I love it when I find great stuff that other people are throwing out.

I've finished my Flea market Bag.


The cabinet is painted, but I'm having trouble finding baskets that fit. I may just have to make something
The shelving unit is done too, I think.
I'm making progress.



The Red Shed Girls are having their Saturday sale in Grapevine this Saturday. I'm so excited that I will be able to attend and hopefully, bring you some pictures of their great stuff. Here's the information:

    Hi, Margo - long time no comment. I like your sign. Ever get embarrassed trash-hunting? How 'bout me? Dumpster diving at the storage facility where I work part time - actually I never got into the dumpster. But anything within reach or that I can hook with a long pole is MINE. I've found some pretty cool things. You'd be surprised what people will throw away. Have a fun trip to Grapevine- wish I could go, but we're going to do some landscaping this weekend barring rain. vickie

    The bag came out so good...really charming.

    Hope that you find baskets soon.

    I have got to get my brain in gear...I would've chucked that sign, too. ;/
