Please Indulge me-We don't see this very often down here in TX

This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland here in E Texas

Junk was covered in snow

Dogs were puzzled but playful

It was beautiful

Don't let the pic below fool you. She's half bassett hound and her legs are very short. The snow was about 5"

It will probably all be gone by tonight, or at least not so pretty.

  1. What fun for you. That has been my view since the beginning if November--white everywhere. Unfortunately it will continue to be that for at least 2 more months!

  7. So glad that you documented it. Perhaps you could slap a wreath on your front door and use it for your Christmas card. It's so beautiful...and the dogs are having a grand time.

  16. I just heard that 48 of the 50 states has snow on the ground. Yes, it is pretty. There it is pretty! We are overwhelmed with it lately. Can't wait for the spring to start my gatherings! And clicking my heels does not help me get out of here!

  22. Hi Margo,

I heard that 48 states had snow the last few days....incredible storm pattern!

I didn't know you had a greyhound! They are very special pooches. And your other pooch is so cute too with her short legs. They are so much fun to watch play in the snow. :)

  23. Margo is your shop in Tyler or Noonday? I get to come to Canton Trade Days for the very first time this month (YIPPEE!) and I for sure want to visit your booth! Any tips or other shops in Texas that are a must see? Going to Galveston after Canton. I've followed you for a long time and I think you were one of the first blogs I put on my favorites list! (PS - please do NOT have any more snow! We're trying to leave that behind us!)
