Even though I've been busy busy this past week, I always have time to stop by my favorite picker's places to see what they have found for me. This week I got this great lot of vintage soda bottles.
I love the graphics, so very retro
Cool! makes me thirsty for an old fashioned cold soda pop.
I'm still working on cleaning them, and I have a project in mind if I can make it work.
great find..i'm very familiar with Barq's...it's made by the Barq's family right here in Biloxi:D
ReplyDeletei think the older ones are orange and blue...locals drink a Barq's with a pack of salty peanuts dumped into the bottle! very tasty!

EEKKK, I remember some of those! Man do I feel OLD!! I really want to see what comes of them!! Rhonda
ReplyDeleteBarq's rootbeer is the best. Saw you have a vintage blue Barq's Rootbeer bottle....I have several and collect them since it is a favorite of mine from childhood. Goes great with a Shrimp Po'Boy. Anxious to see what you will do with the bottles. :)
