Goodbye Sweet Baby Girl

It's a sad but sure part of pet ownership. Saying goodbye.
Today I choose to remember when she was healthy, not the last few years of decline.
See you on the rainbow bridge...

Just stand at the gate and keep barking like you do, and St Peter is sure to let you in.

Thank you to everyone who has left comments. In my confusion, I accidentally deleted a couple of them, but I did read them first, I just hit the wrong button.

I appreciate your thoughts, it's hard to say goodbye but it was the right decision.
Margo

  6. What a sweet face... I am hanging on to a fifteen-year-old miniature poodle for dear life praying that she has another year or two just because I do not want to say goodbye.

  8. Sorry about your beloved dog. It's always so difficult when one passes. I once had a beautiful Golden Retriever as well, perhaps he will play with yours at the bridge.

  15. Oh it is so hard. Once your pets start getting "that age" you just have to love them every single day, and hope you make the right decision out of you love for them. I know that you did, and just think of the menagerie wait for us when we get up there!
    Lots of love,
    Valarie
