Awhile back I found this great old bakelite radio for $8, A bargain working or not. Loved the Art Deco graphics and lines. I had all intentions of selling it as - is. Then I made a comment "wouldn't it be nice if I could plug my ipod into this.
Well Voila, Mr Roboto did it for me.
No easy task apparently. I'd see parts laying around here and there, as he worked out the details over the past month, and act like I didn't know what was up.
He was up late last night working on it, and managed to get it done in time. And I'm so enjoying my new music coming from this fabulous old piece. And I appreciate the work that went into it. I think next year he'd just like me to want something out of a catalog.

ReplyDeleteWow what a great idea. I know my son wanted to try and get my bakelite radio working but found it was too hard to figure out where to get battery etc. so maybe I could suggest this idea to him.
