When the call comes

In my last post I said I wanted to get back to junkin and that is exactly what I did.

The Call came Monday around 10:30 am. A local picker had a new load. I couldn't get out there fast enough. Look at that wonderful old game wheel.

I was not disappointed, it was a wonderful load. Decorative iron, and architecturals

Love this old chippy lamp and I can't resist industrial lighting.
All of these goodies in 1 place, except for the round shutters below.

I found those at a garage sale last week. Can you believe the little boy helping called it "kindling"? They thought it was 1/2 of a wagon wheel, but I think it is decorative shutters for a round window. What do you think? Should I paint them for sale or leave them as they are?

I'm pleased and I still have another junking call to answer, but the truck was a bit full to make it there today.

  2. Excellent haul, Margo! I love those old turquoise whatchamacallits! I may have to have one of those to grow something on!

I think it's a shutter, too. I think paint would really jazz it up!
