Day 3, It's over

Well I could call it a mild success. Definitely worth having, but my larger stuff just didn't sell very well. I guess I just need the right crowd. I'm not giving up, they'll be lots of junking in my future, as I love it so much. I may focus more on smaller items next time, and try to put out the larger items too. I may try a flea market or crafts fair, we'll just have to see. Right now I'm too tired to think about it. I met lots of nice folks, learned a few things for next year's sale and had a great time sitting under the shade trees. Thank you to all of my cheerleaders out there in blog land, Having your support was really nice. Now back to my routine, Yeah!

I'm glad the weather held out for you yesterday and today! You just never know what people will buy - back when I used to have garage sales, I would save things for next time and something that had been there for years would be the first thing to go!
Thanks for the link to the garage sale ads - now to see if hubby has a Tyler map he will share.
Don't worry about not mentioning the no a/c at the Shabby Shack - if it hadn't been for the headache, it wouldn't have been too bad - not like it would have been even a week ago!
Get some rest!

I have enjoyed your blog - and curious, have you ever considered coming to W. Texas for Old Sorehead Days in Stanton (held 3 times a year) - that would be great fun for me!! I know a trip for you, but I would be happy to serve you and yours dinner one night!

Margo, I bet you are glad it's over. I know you do need the right people for the larger items.
Hang in there, they will sell at another venue I'm sure.
Hope you are getting rest today!

I agree with Joy ... you should be very proud ..your creations are wonderful and your display were great.
I know how draining it is when it is all over...
I had a VERY slow month at First Monday last month....just hoping for a better one this time around.
