Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Well My Internet has been down most of today so I got a lot done. I was flipping through a book that had a framed print of several balusters all chippy and white. It was in a cream bedroom and looked lovely and calm. It inspired me to do this.

I'd bet my poor DH would love it if I'd put these books away. :) He hasn't even noticed it yet though. I've decide that I love to make changes. Good thing my tastes are not expensive.

I'm so Excited

A Friend of mine's mother just did a watercolor of my house. I only asked for it a few weeks ago, she was fast. I'm so pleased, here it is. I'm trying to talk her into letting me post this as a service on my web page. I know she could sell people watercolors of THEIR homes.

Today's Progress

Well I'm done painting the $5 dresser, and although it needs some touchup here and there and still needs 1 drawer repaired, I'm pleased with the progress so far.

I was also able to get a little birdhouse done.

The bigger shutter birdhouse had a problem with the roof size, so I had to pull it off and I've set it aside for now. sometimes that's the best way for me to deal with problems, get back to them later.

Taking the day off-kinda

Well it's Saturday and I've decided not to rush around and hit the Garage Sales early or even try to go GS-ing today. I may hit some when I'm out, but I'm gonna take it easy today. I have some stuff to list on Ebay so I may do that. I'm hoping to finish up the dresser i've been painting so I'll do that.
I also have a birdhouse I've been working on for Ebay and I'll probably work on that. A nap is on my list too, so I'll do that. GS-ing is getting expensive because of gas prices, So I may just have to cut back. So that's my day of rest, hope you all have a good Saturday too.

Getting Started

Ok this is my first attempt at an actual Blog. I'm setting this up so that people can respond and give me ideas and feedback. I tried doing a yahoo group, but it was a bit complicated for some. So I'll try this.

Well Today I hit a few Garage Sales, and got a junk fix. I was able to get 2 large Jesso Frames for 25 cents each. And something else that will show up as an idea of the week in a few weeks.
