Prom & Some Tables

DS #2 had prom this weekend, And he and his group looked so nice I thought I'd share.
He's in this pic on the far left with the girl in the red dress.

Isn't he handsome!!!!
they had a great time and I'm so glad my little (introvert) stepped out of his comfort Zone to do this.
Graduation June 7.

Remember these tables

Well they are just about finished. I'm just trying to strengthen the legs, but I think they look a lot nicer painted. The finish was just unsavable.

Hey, Margo - goodlookin' kid you got there - you can tell by the girls they date, too! They all look so nice. Did ya'll take pics at the Children's Park on Broadway? I think I saw ya'll! Thanks for posting your pics. I miss all that with my kids! Enjoy! We don't get to see them dressed up like that but very few times - Vickie

Margo - I don't know why, but it just seems so STRANGE when I see a picture on someone's blog & I recognize the place! Terrific looking kids - I'm sure they had a blast!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog & for leaving encouraging words -it means a lot.

Perfect color green on those tables.

As for prom, well, they grow up way too fast, don't they?

Margo,
I have been a BIG fan of your site for the past year and have just this week started my own blog in addition to my site. I am also a "junker" and am constantly looking for junk to re-create or to just use to decorate my home. I have been selling my creations for about six years and lately have become more serious about it. I participated in Country Home's "Pitch your Product" event back in March and would like to attend and participate in Junk Bonanza. I live in southeast Iowa, about four hours from Minneaoplis. However, I am still nervous about going to Junk Bonanza - have you attended in the past?? What were the crowds like? Do you think that the vendors did well?? I want to make it worth my trip, especially due to the price of gas!

I love your site and have learned a lot from it. I also have family in Houston, San Antonio, San Marcos and Beaumont. I LOVE Texas!! I have not visited since 2002-- basically since I gave birth to two very active little boys (one in 03 and one in 04) Anyway, I would live to come down and see all the flea markets!!!
