We had such a good time, I can't even begin to tell you what an experience this trip has been. I have to play catch up here at home today, of course nobody did any dishes, or swept any dog hair while I was gone. In addition a hurricane came through and left leaf litter all over everything outside, and knocked anything that wasn't heavy, on the porch, over. I promise more pictures and stories starting later today, but here is something to tide you over, with a bit of a tease.
This is our rental truck after it's final packing. The Red Shed Girls are great packers.
You can see some pics over on their site of stuff we did. I'll get some up later today.

Hey Margo--left so quickly yesterday that I didn't get a chance to say a proper goodbye. Didn't really expect to get the early flight. I'm back to real life today and I'm really tired. But the trip was just perfect.
I did check out your link yesterday and saw all the great photos of these incredible junkers buying gears and stuff that most folks would walk right on by. Love the creativity of junkers I might add. Great packers, too!
Margo,
So glad to know the house, kids, and dogs were (mostly)OK. What an incredible trip! It would not have been the same without you. Be sure to post a "what I bought" page (once we get it all back to Tyler).
Last I heard, our U-Haul drivers had won $300.00 at Diamond JIm's Casino, and were going to stop at every one on the way back to Texas!...Who knows when we will see our stuff!
Miss you.
Valarie
Now, just one of 12 Red Shed Girls
What a great haul and wonderful people to share a passion with! I'll be checking later to see what you make.
