Minneapolis area Day 4

The Day Started at The Cottage House

They had a great welcome sign out front for us.

This is Ted and his crew. You'll be seeing more of Ted and his projects in the days to come.
He was so nice, when I asked him about a project, he began to give me direction as to how he made it, what materials he used etc.

This is Linda, I love her Colorful Character

This is Ted Showing me one of his projects. He's even written how he made it on the chalk board

After That we went to Hunt & Gather In Minneapolis

This place reminded me of Uncommon object in Austin---only bigger

Cool hip stuff around every corner

And another one of those larger-than-life objects

Across the street was another store, I forgot the name

Can you believe people actually thought that these would take the weight off

Ki made a great project in her new book out of one of these Wabash boards

I love old games

Michele found something cool

Then off to Guilded Salvage, I'm going to let these pics speak for themselves.

Christy found these 2 pieces and is going to make some little people out of them.
Christy does great things with metal, she welds.

Later that night, we sorted out the truck, once again and for the last time.
Against all odds, those Red Shed Gals got it all in there, They are good packers.

Sunday morning we headed home, I pulled in my driveway at 9:15 pm and had a real good nights sleep. I'm still very tired, from the trip but also energized.
I headed to Val's today to pick up my finds that I sent home on the truck. I'll be showing you everything tomorrow. And then It's time to start thinking about my Barn Sale next week.

Ki has compiled a list of blogs that have stories from the Bonanza. Be sure to check it out for more junking adventures. It's on her side bar on the right.

Funny, I used to live in MN near these places and somehow I never managed to visit one of them. I suppose you've got to know where to look sometimes!

Margo, looks like a great trip! Those gears are so cool, can't wait to see what you do with them. Hunt and Gather is fun, it's different everytime you go. Looks like you just maybe could have stuffed a few more things in that truck, lol.

Margo...that "jiggle belt" (that's what we call that exercise machine because it's supposed to jiggle the fat off!) is hilarious. One of my college friends lost part of his finger in one of those as a child. Be careful! What is that thing that Michele has with all the numbers? I want it and I don't even know what it is!
