What is RUFF????

I've been playing with the idea for awhile now, of getting a booth space just for junk. You know the
Raw Materials that make our hearts beat a little faster.
Doors, windows, shutters, metal stuff, industrial stuff, hinges, locks, rusty, crusty this-n-that.
When I was reading about Winnie & Tulula's starting up in Athens, and all the great dealers going in there it hit me. This would be a great place for my Ruff Stuff. After discussing it with a friend, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take the plunge. I called up Gloria and got the ball rolling. Long Story Short, RUFF will be stocked and ready to go, by Winnie & Tulula's Grand Opening on June 13th, 11:00 am, 1
19 E. Tyler Street in Athens Texas.

So if you are one of the lucky dealers that is in on the ground floor of this great new mall, guess what, I'm joining ya. Yippee!!!! it's a great bunch of gals.

Winnie & Tulula's tag line is "Not your Mother's Antique Mall" and based on what I saw on Friday, that is so true. With dealers like Teresa Cano, and Mindy of Primitiques, Lilly Bussey, and Maggy Lopez, Ethel's Just Junke, Talking Trash Debbie & Danny York, and several others, that I hope to get to know real soon, this place is sure to be a hit.

There's already wonderful stuff being loaded in

Eye candy around every corner, Even the walls are perfect.

Gloria has Hand Picked "Dealers that don't color between the lines".

You'll have to enter through Sweet Pea's and see Gloria's lovely bedding first, then in the adjoining room you'll see the Old Stuff.

Can't wait for opening day.

Hope you've enjoyed some sneak peaks. The Dealers are just getting started loading in, so they'll be lots more.

See you there

None of these pics are of my space. It's still the "workroom". These spaces belong to the wonderful folks I mentioned above. Aren't they great.
Is my stuff ready? No
Is my stuff clean? It's getting there.
Will I be ready in time? You Betcha!

The new shop sounds fantastic. I am lucky enough to be involved with one in Albany New York called At The Warehouse. It is a fabulous ever changing adventure filled with beautiful raw materials, finished goods and an amazingly diverse population of vendors and customers. I enjoy every minute I spend there. Have a wonderful time. I wish you every success.
