It's been so cold outside this past week, that I've been busy doing indoor projects.
Remember this clock
I purchased it for my space at Winnie & Tulula's. It was once a sign for a bank, and there was a matching clock for the other side, but it was in pieces
Roger and I took on the challenge of trying to piece it back together. Not all of it was there. So I tucked it away under the bed, until last week.
I finally decided to get it out and glue it to a back board
What do you think? I don't know where I'm gonna put it yet, I may just leave it there leaning against the wall. There are lots of tiny tiny pieces around the "6".
I also decided to try and make some pillows out of some coffee sacks I'd accumulated.
Now the sewing machine and I don't get along too well, so there is a lot of blood sweat and tears in these little pillows. I think I've got it figured out now and I may make some more.
I finally got my couch slipcovered. This sofa is a sleeper and is in my creative space room. It's very convenient if we have extra guests, but it's ugly.
I decided to buy a slip cover for it, but I didn't like the way it looked (still looked like a sheet draped over a sofea). So I added aChenille bedspread and some pillows. I love it now.
It's warming up outside so I was able to unload my trailer, and straiten up a little out in the barn. Yippee!!!!

love the hat on the sofa! it looks like frank (sinatra) was just there! (my family has a thing for him)
Good job with the clock. And I love the pillows. I have come sacks with stains and now I know what to do with them.
Margo, your pillows are gorgeous. Will you sell any?
Very neat projects Margo...really like your pillows...blessings
Great solution for the slipcover and I love the little pillows that caused you so much grief.
the clock looks great.. what a puzzle, huh? I love your coffee sack pillows! I've never even seen a coffee sack... are they "old"?
Oh Margo - I love those little pillows!!! I personally don't think a sewing machine works properly unless it's being screamed it - nice curse words and a few teardrops in place of machine oil. LOLOL
The clock is TOTALLY awesome!!!

I'm with everyone else; really diggin' those pillows!
I'm lovin' the pieced clock and the pillows. The missing pieces of the clock add charm and character, don't you think? And looking a the pillows, one would never guess you and the sewing machine weren't getting along really well. ;-)
Love the pillows! I am hosting my first linky party and would be thrilled if you joined Margo!
You just never shut 'er down, do you? Love your pillows...those are gonna fly out the door!
