New Year's Day in Canton

Waking up this morning I decided that what better way to spend a day off, than to go to a flea market? So I packed up my SUV and headed to Canton's First Monday Trades Days.
January brings fewer vendors to Canton, and smaller crowds. It was not a hectic paced, power shopping day, but instead a slow and easy, cool and calm day at the flea market.
I did get a cart full of goodies, most of which I'll be selling at my various booths.

As usual with my visits to Canton, I have to stop in the Civic Center to see a few friends.

Maggie & Lilly were having fun posing and selling their fun and wonderful junky finds.

Beautiful and creative displays in their spaces, as usual

These are a few of the goodies I brought home and am offering to anyone who wants them.

Hey Margo - Happy New Year! Sounds like fun! I didn't even think about Canton this weekend. Today would have been a perfect day to go. Nice and calm and chilly. I hope 2010 is a great year for you and yours! Hope to run into you soon at a sale!
