The cool candles in the pic above can be purchased from Gloria at Sweet Peas
The centerpiece above uses an old farm disk at the base, with some old books, zinc seed pots, plant markers and a dried hydrangea
Several of you have asked what kind of camera I'm playing with. It's a Cannon Rebel XS 35mm with a flash attachment. Speedlight 430ES II. It's the camera my Son the photographer suggested my Husband get for better pics. I'm slowly learning about f-stops, shutter speed, angle of flash, automatic and non automatic settings etc. It's a lot to take in, and I have a new appreciation for good photographers.
For every good photo I show you there are 20-30 not so good ones.
And I do use Photoshop to do some color and light manipulation.

Got me a place to stay today!!!!! Not an easy task.
Not going to sell, but to shop, scout and photograph.
Can't wait to take you along.
Look for reports later this month.

I met you last at Ki's book signing in Canton. I am set up at Bar W Field at Warrenton... close to the bridges that cross from the Zapp Hall area to Bar W Field... come by and see me.

(I am no camera purist...I just know that I like the photos I see here.) Have lots of fun shopping and I do look forward to seeing the loot.
Have just discovered you through Ginny at Small Studios. So much fun! Love your "Trash to Treasures" too.

Margo - Have a great time! We went down there twice and LOVED every single minute! If you're looking for bargains try out some of the flea markets off the beaten path. But do be sure and see all the great, wonderful, beautiful places & vendors down there! It's a junker heaven!!! How long are you staying? Are you going with your hubby?
I love the way you put those skinny candles in that glass flower thinga-ma-jiggy. I never could get more creative than putting pencils in there. Off to buy skinny candles.

Be sure and look us up in Bar W Field, by the exit at the far back cattle guard. We call it "Porta Potty Row". Just ask for Cowboy Andy. You need to meet Renee (ajunkqueen) also. Have a great time! Susan
Loving the photos with your new camera! Have fun at Round Top. Wish I could make it this year!
