Hey I had one of those!!!!

Still having fun with Etsy Treasuries. It all started with the record carrier box you see below. I began to think of things I actually had while growing up, and it developed into this treasury. None of these items are mine, but they all bring back memories. Click any picture to be taken to the treasury page to view the items better.

Mrs Beasley was my favorite doll, and has since been lost. The graphic record carrier, could really play tricks on the eyes. One time I was home with a fever, and was staring at it from bed. Then it all changed shape, It's an optical illusion Stare at it long enough and you'll see what I mean. My radio like the blue one was yellow. All the other items were part of my daily life until I found Boys. :) They were either decorations in my home, items from our kitchen or the always present Avon bottles. Oh the memories. Thank you for indulging me.

Too funny because I think I had at least 10 or 12 of those same things... even the plaid, bellbottom, hip hugger pants! Wish I fit in them now! :) It's fun to reminisce! Thanks for the giggles, Margo!

Mrs. Beasley was my favorite too! I really wish I still had mine, luckily I do have one that I rescued from an antique mall for $1.50. She is without her apron, glasses, and collar--but it doesn't matter because she is still Mrs. Beasley :) I also rescued a Family Affair lunch box from a garage sale quite a few years ago. They and my Chrissy doll are among my treasures and sweet memories.

Margo, that's MY record holder - exactly to the T. How did it get on Etsy?

My sister had the Mrs. Beasley Doll and loved her so much. We had one of the Barbie cases, and the Avon Girl, plus I recall seeing sprigs of acrylic flowers--like your other posters, it's like we all had the same things!

Keep up the good junkin'!

P.S. I LOVE your "weather-related" blog header.

Yours from hot and dry southeast Texas, Calsidyrose
