Spindle Christmas Tree Project

From the Project Vault. I did this last Christmas, and can't wait to bring it out again this year.

It's never too early to get started on those Christmas projects.

All you need for this is some old spindles, something to use as a base, a metal rod and a saw and drill.

I finally finished the tutorial, that you can view here

Cute! I've not seen this.
Is it a 'stand alone' tree? OR...will you decorate it with a garland of popcorn, buttons or bunting?

I guess you could do whatever, huh?

I'll have to see your tutorial and think on this some more.

I really like this but then again I am no good with tools so there will be no spindel tree here

Glad you feel well enough to be up working on projects again

I am sitting here at work with 4 bulging disks in my back and can hardley do anything, oh just take care of myself i guess.
I was glad to get home from hospital since I live alone they let me stay 48 hours, big deal for a gal in HORRIBLE pain

Hi Margo,
Hope you're doing well.
Love the tree....I just made something similar yesterday but on a much, much smaller scale...mine was an ornament using some old wood pieces. I wired them together...super easy.
I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for some more spindles.
