More Birdcages

DH and I ventured to a nearby town to go to a flea market I've been hearing about. It was a small fleamarket, and didn't have a lot that I was interested in, but i did pick up these great items.

I got the most wonderful old bird cage, 3 old wooden levels, and that metal bread box with a hinged lid, all for $10.00. I have no idea what I'll do with them right now, but we'll see.

For those asking about my arm (from my tetanus shot) The arm is doing better, but the pain has traveled to a lymph node in my neck. This is pretty normal for a tetanus shot and happened last time I got one. I just have to wait for it to go away.

My allergies are far more of a problem. Every time I walk outside they kick in. I took something this morning and I paid for it. I had to take a nap for 2 & 1/2 hrs, that stuff knocks me off my feet. I'm not sure what is worst, the allergies or the cure.

I too had to have a tetanus shot awhile back, no fun! You should see the post of the birdcage at the Clutter show; it was filled with plants and set on the table, it was cute. Will you sell it or keep it? And, where is this flea market, if you don't mind me asking :)

I love your rendition of the birdcage! You'd think that, with four parrots, we'd have an extra cage or two around here that I could play with! ;-)
Have any of your barn sale customers come back to check out your "new" things?

Have you ever tried eating local honey for your allergies? It must be honey harvested in your area in order for it to work. (My family started this habit last spring and we have been remarkably free of allergies ever since. What a blessing!)

vee, very interesting, I remember my DH mentioning something about that. I'll have to find some.

Theresa: I'm not sure if I'll see it or not. You interested?? The flea market is in Jacksonville on hwy 69, just before you get into town from the north.

Sher: you should have a few cages around, but then again, maybe they are all occupied. I had a bird when I was a child, and it was so messy, I've never had another.

Love all your great finds. I can't wait to see what you come up with for all these great things. Such a crafty, creative person you are! Hope you feel better from your tetanus shot, nasty things they are.
