Pretty china Swag and a trip to the Police Station and a great store and site

Do you remember the fist hitting the car incident? If not look
here
Well we've got our estimates and the guy is refusing to pay. So it looks like we'll have to press charges. DH and I had to go down to the police station today and look at a photo line up. Frankly all the guys in the pictures looked alike. I told the officer if I could hear him speak I could probably pick him out. Dh was unable to ID which one it was either. Think about pictures of 6 guys, all with dark hair, and the only real difference was their weight. There were a few i could say it was "not" but I could not say for sure that it was any of them. It's not a necessary thing for us to prove he did it. He admitted to the officer that he had yelled at several people that day, but stopped short of admitting he hit our car. So the saga continues. I told you I'd keep you updated, and that is where it stands 1 month later. and my car is still dented.

Now for something happier...
I had a special order for a china swag made from red transferware. I got it finished this weekend and was real pleased with it.

I hope she likes it.

Love the swag; hate that and unknown person hit your car and hope you get to the bottom of it --- SOON! I've been enjoying your blog for ever so long now and I get so upset when I forget to check it and get behind. Sooooo, I'm adding it as another "Reason Why The Paint Dries On My Brushes". Did I mention that I love you are a fellow Texan too. We are sooooo clever, aren't we?!?!? It's that Round Rock, Warrenton, Canton influence, prolly?

My bests,

Don't you hate it when people do stuff like that. I hope you can get it worked out and get your car fixed. Someone ran baby boy off the road Saturday night. No one was hurt and other than having to call a wrecker to pull him out of a ditch there was no damage, however he had to pay the wrecker on the spot, in cash, $112.00. I can't believe he had enough cash on him to pay it - he usually doesn't have $2.00 on him! Anyway - I'm hoping they can get the girls insurance to re-imburse him for the wrecker. (someone who saw it happen followed her and came back and told the police where to find her)
Anyway - love the swag and I'm sure your customer will love it too!

Sorry that the saga continues. Why you should even have to do the line up thing is beyond me if he's already admitted to this. How ridiculous!

Love the swag...love it, love it, love it. I'm sure your client will, too.

Hi Margo, I love the swag. It's just beautiful.I am going to go up to the mall and check out your new booth, when I get the chance. Also, I have a few of those crystal tear drops that I thought I would bring up there and leave for you.I know you will do some thing wonderful with them. Since I have began decorating in more of the country primitive style, don't guess I will be using them. I was going to list them on ebay, but would rather to past them to you. I will let you know when I drop them off.

Blessings,Shelley

Margo - As someone who lives right here in your very same town I must admit to being pretty annoyed with our local P.D. I mean, you have the guy's address, they OBVIOUSLY know who it is - it's ridiculous that they're requiring you to make an i.d. from a LINE-UP! That's just crazy. THEY ought to file charges, let it go to court if necessary, let a jury decide. HMMMPPPPFFFFFF! Hang in there!
