Fun, Friends, and Free Stuff

Yesterday Was my Youngest Son's HS Graduation. We are very proud of him, as he is graduating a year early.

His Dad helps him with his tie

He is somewhere in that sea of red
Anyway, afterwards we had a get-together at our home and lots of family and friends showed up.

Here is the graduate with his friend.

That is me in the blue shirt talking to Penny, My mom is standing up in the red.

One of which was my BFF, Penny. Penny brought me lots of junk. They had to clean out there attic for more insulation and found these ugly light fixtures.

which were covered with 110 of these lovelies

She also brought an old table that needs re-finishing, a box of old outdoor lights, and a chair that was given to her by a friend, to give to me.

Look at the details on this chair, and the table is a gate-leg with storage inside.

I have a vision for this piece. Thank you Penny you are the BEST.
By the end of the day I was exhausted, I hadn't had my nap or my caffeine all day and when head hit pillow I was out.
Hope you had a great day as well.
Margo

Congratulations to your son! WHat a smarty! Hey, Margo, if you look at your son's pic and then look over at the pic of YOU when you were young, see how much he looks like you??? I haven't met your hubby, but boy, is there a big resemblance! Looks like ya'll had a good party, and you got some good junk, too!
