Flash Cards

I've been seeing a trend in Antique store displays, and merchandising, as well as in the Scrapbooking and Altered Art worlds. Folks are loving Flash Cards. The old ones we used to use in school, probably considered outdated trash to some, gold to others.

I have recently aquired quite a few of these, and will be offering them on
Ebay this week and in weeks to come. Or you can just simply email me. I have lots of the number cards that you see above, in numbers 1-15, They are part of an old card game. And I have more of the word and combination word flash cards too.

My Husband is Famous (well almost)
My DH is very interested in Geneaology. As for me, I can't even spell it right.
He took a really cool photo recently when he was out hunting dead people at a local cemetery
He sent it into Family Tree Magazine and it was printed in the September Issue (out now)

Never mind the book he wrote, the dozens of newspaper and magazine articles on robotics he's written, No! This is his claim to fame. A quirky random photo taken in a local cemtery.
Congrats Roger on your new found fame :) Coffee Anyone???
Have a great day.
Margo

I LOVE old word flashcards and am always on the lookout for them. I use them to make cards, journals, etc. and even to "decorate" around the house. Wonder how many retiring teachers just throw them away? Yikes!

Hey Margo, I'm a BIG Gen fan, too. You know the picture of me I have on my blog? My Brother-in-law took that photo of me sitting by my Gr,Gr,Gr,Gr GF's tombstone! We went over on Memorial Day to visit. Tell JH, great pic and congratulations!
