My Version

Remember this piece that I saw at Judy Hill's sale?

And do you remember these rings I found?

Well here's my version

Not an exact copy but good enough for me. I used bed springs, with sheet music cones inserted. The bed springs are a bit small in diameter and want to fall through, so I anchored them with wire to keep them in place. I have a few other ideas of things to use inside the rings, but I'll start with this.Tthe wood was from an old window frame that I rescued from my Mom's house.
If you'll look at my profile pic, I'm actually loading these pieces into the truck. Then I hung it from a couple of old decorative hinges and there you have it. I told my mom I'd make something fun from that old window frame.

On another note, I'm a bit under the weather. Don't exactly know why, but I feel yuck, but not so yucky that I can't go to work or flip through magazines, and dog ear ideas. Hopefully this will pass and I'll be at full force by the weekend. After all it is First Monday weekend, and Canton is calling.

Hey Margo, great idea! You have to go to that shop in Haltom City when you can. The prices were fair and I just loved looking at the booths. Hope you had a great Christmas, T
