Some great architectural Junk-New finds

Happy Valentines Day to you all
I hope you have a great day with the ones you love.
A junker/vendor friend of mine called me and told me she had purchased an old piano, that she demolished and wanted to know if I wanted to purchase some of the pieces. I was very intrigued and needless to say, I scooped them up. Take a look at these beauties

This piece will make a great headboard

Love these trim pieces, I see shelf brackets, candle sticks, and I have a project already in the works for the pedals

Now what to do with all those keys. I don't think they are ivory, so their re-sale value is not huge, like the ivory ones I just sold off on ebay. But none the less they have a Junkers value. Any project ideas out there?

She also had these 2 old lamps that I picked up

This one hangs down from a chain and there is another decorative metal piece that attaches to the ceiling

And at a local Flea market
And can you guess what this is. This is a bus number sign. the numbers are on rolls and each one is changed easily. There are lights inside and I'm trying to get some replacement bulbs. Wouldn't this make a great night light in a kids room.

And estate sales
And I couldn't pass up these colorful yard sticks.
I also picked up this great chippy stool, that I'm using for display in my booth.

Just a reminder that I'll be working at Our Little Corner in the Pink Building all day Saturday so stop by and say "hi" if you are in the area.
Don't forget about my Sunday Garage Sale.

And once again...you SCORE! Great stuff there. I've used the straighter piano keys as dividers for wine bottle cubbies in a dresser converted wine hutch. I have a piano (or parts) in my garage. My goal was to cover my new gas fireplace surround and mantel with it, but am now planning to do the surround with stack stone and hope to come up with a way to do the mantel with the gorgeous wood from the piano. Any suggestions?

Good to see you this week, Margo! Just wasn't long enough --

I came by your booth Thursday afternoon, but I could tell you'd already come and gone. I saw the yardsticks, etc. Sorry I missed ya!

Hope you had a good day today at the "little corner" -- Vickie

great finds! Can't wait to see what you are going to do with the pedals. How about plant markers for the keys? You are so creative. I love reading your blog to see what you've made lately.
