MN Excursion #2 Buffalo

I definitely wanted to re-visit Buffalo MN after having visited last year. I made the, about 1 hr trip, and found the familiar places that I had visited last year. Yesterday's charm was open but my friend Marge was not working that day. Darn it, sorry I missed you Marge.
Then I headed down the road towards one shop, when I spotted Annie's Attic. A quick u-turn and I was in heaven.
I may have visited this place last year, but I can't remember.

I could tell from the outside that this was going to be a great stop

I didn't take many pics inside, but there was lots of stuff. I have really developed a love for vintage Christmas, and those 2 tinsel wreaths (bottom shelf) came home with me.

As you walk out the back of the store, there is a small yard, and then a whole other building.

The yard had some very interesting things in it, and then there is the building out back. With some great stuff to be picked through. This is where I get sad that I don't have a truck to drive stuff home in. I had to leave so much behind.

Then I headed towards "the attic"

I knew immediately when I drove up that I had been here before. Yes the Red Shed Girls had brought us here a year ago, and it does not disappoint.

Project Alert: Here's a bed spring project for you gals.

Lots of pretties around every corner

I love crowded spaces, so much to discover.

This one had a festive feel

Red really catches the eye

That was Buffalo. There really is a lot more to see there. They have occasional sales so check to see if the stores are open before you drive all the way out there. When it is an sale weekend, you'll be in for a wonderful treat.

I was sad to see one of my favorite places from last year, Sweet Salvage, is no longer in business. It was a great place.
Next post we will visit Medina and Hopkins.

Ahhh, Buffalo. You know, I kind of do miss it. I used to live in Monticello, the next town over, and have told myself I don't miss it up there, but I do! Thanks for the familiar names!

Margo - Lots of stuff in Buffalo. The occasional sales are open the 1st Thursday - Sunday of each month. 9-10 different shops there for you to explore. I sold there for years, but have curtailed my efforts because real work called. 2nd Hand Rose is the most eclectic and the Porch has a definite European flea market to villa feel.

Margo, those are really neat places. I would love to do that trip. You should've had you a truck to bring some of that lovely junk back home.

I did enjoy my tamales. And I know Posado's is renovating, but there's lots of other Mexican food joints that we could enjoy! We just need to get together!

Hey, Margo! Great pictures! Buffalo is one of my favorite places. You even happened to take a picture of mine and Julie's booth. It's the one with the bistro sign and hanging silver from the tree. Love the Buffalo Nickel! So much great inviting booths. Hope to see you again next year!
