Fab Find

Last week, while out garage sale-ing with friends, I ran across this beauty.
She's not quite perfect as she is missing one side piece.
She's aluminum and pretty big around 5', I'm guessing.

I have some ideas on how to make it work. I've spent this past week getting all the debris out from between the slats and she's had a good power wash. I really don't like dealing with pieces this big, so she is definitely for sale.

I'm off to help with a Photo Shoot for the next FMS Magazine.
Don't even think about asking me where it is, I'm sworn to secrecy.
My job will basically be "go-fer". I can't wait to watch and learn. Look for a behind the scenes next week, I'll be taking lots of pics. I've never done anything like this before and I'm looking forward to observing the process.

Margo I LOVE it....You've probably thought of this already but just in case....If you cut it in half (down the centre of the front) you could use the chopped off piece on the side to make a whole shade....??

A few years back I visited an antique mall in St Louis & there was a shade similar to yours in a booth & it looked FABULOUS....I WISH I could find one....!!

Cheers,
Tamarah :o)
