Thanks to you all

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your condolences. I've been prepared for my Grandmother's passing for many years, and she was fairly healthy until the last few weeks. She still got around, could dress and care for herself etc. When I go I want to go as she did, from a brief illness, and not waist away from some lingering sickness. She was a spitfire full of idiosyncracies (i know i spelled that wrong). She was also a horder, and a few years ago my uncles and I cleaned up part of her house (for health reasons).

That is what her kitchen looked like at the time.

We filled up 5 of these

I want to be involved, because I don't want people throwing stuff away that may seem unvaluable to them, but does have either sentimental or monetary value. But that is in the future, for now we have a funeral to plan, so I'm off to the metroplex (2 hrs east) to help with arrangements.
The pictures at the top are: Me with her at my Uncle's funeral about 5-6 yrs ago, and her wedding picture to my grandfather.

I'm sure this post is full of spelling and grammar errors, enjoy my mistakes and have a great day.

Margo,
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother (I had already read your post yesterday before you posted the update) I lost my grandmother almost two years ago (October) and I still miss her. You get to keep the memories.

What a dear you are to care so much about your grandmother's 'things' - I know you will find some treasures that you will turn into something that you will cherish - again, my sympathies for this loss.
