Wednesday News

I just found out today that my friend Lorraine from "not your typical white trash" will be a fellow dealer at The Antique mall.

This is great news and I'm so excited to have here there, but there is one bad thing, I'll always be broke because I love her stuff. You can read about my adventure to her Klutter Sale here.
here.
She has a great eye for Junk and I'm real excited to see what she brings.

If last week I was Manic, this week I'm very mellow. I'm not going 100mph, and just kinda taking it easy. No new projects, just doing more of some of my favs, trying to get ready for a arts & crafts Fair in a month. It will be my first time to do this kind of thing, and I'm a bit nervous. But when I found out my friend Vickie would also be selling her paintings out there, I felt much better about it. Now I've got someone to, metaphorically, hold my hand ;) and sit with my stuff when I have to go to the Bathroom. I've got my fingers crossed for success. (not with the bathroom, with my jewelry)

Just a little plug about my Ebay auctions this week. I've got a few broken china pieces on there as well as some wooden junk.

We are supposed to get some weather this weekend, so I don't know how much hunting and creating I'll be doing. I may just stay inside with some movies and a fire.

Hi Margo,
Glad you are taking it a bit slower this week. That is so nice about your friend. It is hard not to buy cool stuff.
Thanks for the nice comments on my blog.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow.

Happy Valentines Day Margo - It's almost midnight, so maybe I'm not too early to wish you that! Looking forward to the Azalea sale. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather - you never know what it's going to do! I think you're going to do well. I haven't seen anything else like your stuff out there. Hope you'll be close by - later Vickie

I swear - I might have to make it over to Tyler! Just wish I could skip Dallas Co. on the way.

I loved your carriage wheel "wreath" when I saw it on your blog a while back. I was so excited to find some wonderful wooden wheels this weekend - two for $3.50. The elderly lady said they were from her grandmother's tea cart. They are very fun! I'll try to get pictures soon and post them on my blog.

Also, I was wondering if you have ever had wood pieces that smelled like cigarette smoke? Is there any way to remove the smell? I also bought a sweet little end table for $5 but the odor is horrible. Any suggestions?

Nothing like having great friends around you as great friends spur us onward and upward. So happy to hear that Vickie will be selling her paintings there, too.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
