Some of you may know that my Husband and I own a robotics business. It's not as interesting as it sounds and if you want to know more just go to robotics.com. But anyway, When Wall-E was being promoted I saw this great promotional 3-d cardboard thing at the theater and thought it would be neat to have it. Knowing that I was one of probably thousands, and it would go to a theater employee I didn't pursue it. Then one evening when we went to the movies, I saw signs all over the theater that they were auctioning off the cardboard promotional items for charity. Well that was all I needed to hear. I found the person to talk to, I put my name and bid down in the the book and guess what----we won.
Isn't this the coolest thing, and you can actually sit on it. It now resides in our office lobby along with this dude
that I picked up several years ago when Lost in Space came out. How would you like to be a robber and be face to face with this guy????
What fun.
Now on to projects
I must be in a manic phase because I've really taken advantage of the weekend to get out in the workshop and get lots of projects started, finished and all points in between. I had sold all my luggage pockets so I made this new one.
Along with a couple of China Swags, some shutter shelves and I got these 2 projects started.
Sewing drawer table, and
Angels
They both don't look like much now, but after they are painted they will be oh so fun.
Can't wait for my big sale. I've set the date of September 25-27, and possibly a preview the evening before, I haven't decided on that yet.
Have a great week.
Margo

I suppose a manic phase comes in helpful when you have a big show coming up in September! Have a lot of fun. As always, I am looking forward to all your creations.

Hey Margo - great score! We went to see that movie when we were in Dallas earlier in the summer. It was really cute. What a perfect display for your office!
You stuff is looking great. I will pass the dates on to Sherry - she has got her screened porch painted and is ready to decorate! Be sure to let me know if you are going to have a preview night!
The Wall-E bench is great! Perfect fun for your office. Your projects are wonderful, as always! Can't wait to see what the angels look like--you'll have to post pics when finished! :)
