Fun Chalk Board Find

I answered the Junk Call again today and found this lovely.

The thing that appealed to me was the tray beneath the chalk board, but I had to do something about that stained bulletin board that was attached.

I considered cutting it off but decided to cover it instead, with a piece of Burlap.

I liked it so much when I was done that I decided to keep it.

Now What do I write on it?

What would you write on it?

Oh, I would absolutly write on it. I love it. I have a few chalkboards around here. One on my craftroom door. One on my hallway door and I love to collect quotes. I change the quotes out every so often, holidays, when I find one I really like! It looks so cool with the burlap and is that an ole map you have the chalboard attached too! It's just quite lovely!!!!

Oh, anything and everything and then you just erase it all fast fast when someone comes through the door! LOL! I LOVE chalkboards! Love that impermanence. (Perhaps I should talk to someone about that.)

LOVE that chalk board! The burlap is a great touch. I like to write favorite scripture verses on my chalk boards.

I just want to say I love your blog. I enjoy collecting old things as well, they tell a story and have history. ( one person's junk is another person's treasure !)
