A Few recent finds and a Mystery item

Despite being in "Lock Down" because of Covid 19, I have been able to find a few things lately,
Mostly from friends and online sellers. These items can be found now or soon in my Etsy Shop. Click links on side bar.

Like a several of these fun hats.

And some vintage sewing supplies

Isn't this little bottle so cute

Gotta love seam binding and original packaging

And LMK if you have any clue as to what these pins with hook are used for.

I hope that the garage and estate sales open up soon, as long as it can be done safely.

My new Etsy Space, Studio Tour

I finally  have my Etsy room Set up.

First a look back...

Up to now I've had product stored in a barn, garage, under tarps, and inside in various closets.

I've had several set ups for photography. Mostly I was either hot or cold unless I set things up indoors.

Shipping was either done at  work or at home in my computer room.

But not any more. I'd like to introduce you to my New, All-in-one...

Etsy Room and Studio!!!!

With a place for goods

And for shipping supplies

And a bench for shipping, photos, and projects

Of course I've incorporated Vintage and re-purposed items wherever I can

A place to process in new finds

And lots of room for ...

I'm so very happy with this space, and am so glad to have it all in one place. It will be so much easier to keep everything clean and in good condition while it waits for it's new home. And maybe I won't have as much trouble finding something once it sells. ;)

Vintage Coach Bags now in my Etsy Shop

I'm not exactly sure what it is about Vintage Coach that has drawn me in.

It might be the feel of the Leather. Have you ever felt the need to caress your handbag???
Well you will, if you have a vintage Leather Coach.

It might be the history of these old leather bags. The story of how Bonnie Cashin brought the company into the Ladies Leathergoods market, with her iconic designs and built in kisslock coin purses.

Maybe it's the quality of the hardware. The way the zippers still glide without hesitation or the buckles are still securely attached even after years of use.

Maybe it's the story of the Coach Creed, that tells you so much about the bag.
When and where it was made etc.

Maybe it's the common sense designs made for real women who did not feel the need to carry their entire world with them every time they leave the house.

Whatever the reason, I've been sucked in to the world of Vintage Coach Bags.  And of course I'm offering many to you via my Etsy and Ebay Shops.

Vintage Inspired Farmhouse Design

I've ventured into the retail Home Decor World just a bit, dipping my toe in the pool so to speak. These items cannot be sold on Etsy because they are not old, but I love them and when I got my catalog I couldn't resist adding them to my repertoire.

First I want to share with you one of my favorite items. This vintage inspired organizer has so many great uses. It could be for garden tools, or kid's toys crayons etc. It could be used in the studio or workshop or as I have it as a centerpiece on my table. It's nicely made, all metal construction. You can view it here.

This is a fun adjustable wall rack, perfect for leashes, coats, backpacks etc. perfect for that Farmhouse, Cottage or Industrial look.  The rings slide along the track so it's easy to adjust their width, Here.
The purse is also one of my new items. All leather, and oh so roomy, hobo style. Big enough for books, but very light weight. Fully lined inside with very pretty fabric Here

And I love this unique organizer. Could be used indoors or out. Buckets come off of the hanger if needed and I can think of so many uses for this little goody.  Here

And you can even purchase back issues of Flea Market Style Magazine, right from my Ebay shop.

And sometimes I find really wonderful things when I'm out junking, that are not old enough for Etsy, so I list them on Ebay.
Like this fabulous Le Creuset Tea Kettle that just sold.

So check it out, new treasures  every week.

Using Junk to get Organized in 2015

I love using Junk and found objects for storage and organization in my home.
I use this set of drawers to store my good flatware, nice serving ware,  and cloth napkins in my kitchen.

I'm a sucker for cabinets of drawers, and these metal stacking card file drawers are perfect for crafting, jewelry making, and sewing supplies. The old store thread cabinet above holds even more goodies. And it is up for auction this week on Ebay

One of my favorite things is this old rotating bolt display bin from a hardware store.

You can find a lot of fun junk items to help you with your storage and display needs in my etsy store. And I'm still de-stashing, so some of those goodies from the printer's type drawers may just end up  in my etsy store too.
